VOODOO TRAIN

Bringin' the rumble to the concrete jungle

Voodoo Train is a four-piece rock band out of Los Angeles, forging a gritty, soul-stirring sound that rides the rails between rockabilly swagger, bluesy grit, and indie edge. With a raw energy rooted in a rockabilly and blues tradition but eyes fixed forward, they deliver original music that hits like a freight train—authentic, electrified, and unafraid to explore new sonic terrain.

While they draw from the deep well of American roots music, Voodoo Train isn’t here to resurrect the past. This isn’t nostalgia—it’s reinvention. The band thrives on the tension between old-school influences and a contemporary spirit, taking familiar sounds and twisting them into something vibrant, relevant, and entirely their own.

Their recent collaboration with fellow rockers Hard Rooster on a 45 vinyl split project showcases that ethos. The featured track, "Tragic," is a moody, riff-driven standout that captures the band’s ability to blend the timeless with the modern—echoes of heartbreak, chaos, and grit wrapped in fresh production and fearless attitude.

Voodoo Train is proof that you don’t need to look backward to find soul in music—you just have to know how to make it burn.
