From the recording The Wicked and the Careless

My dad use to blast Graham Parker in the car and the house when I was growing up in the 80's..."Nobody Hurts You", "Discovering Japan", "Local Girls", so I think that English punk rock snarl came out in the vocal and music of this song when it came time to actually give it a proper delivery. This song was written around the time of the pandemic and I did a lackluster home demo. I had not planned on performing this with Voodoo Train because it wasn't rockabilly and we were still anchored to that more than we are now. Also it's a politically themed song and we already had "Frontline" as a political rocker did we need another? We aren't a political band...for some reason I try to be wary of that. But when you have a good song you have a good song and you put it out and it's not like I have anyone else to give it to...unless Graham wants to do it...give me a call Graham.
